The World’s First Ever 9 Second All Motor Street Class Honda Civic‏

So a while ago I made a little bet with Norris to break the 9 second barrier to offset an outstanding bill. It was at Jason Miller’s MIR World Finals and he was close. Real close. And so were a few other guys, so Norris calls me up after the race and says he had found some extra power in the car (that along with a full skin on the bottom of the car among other things), and says he wanted to not only break the record but also have Jay from Nyce1s come down and document the entire thing. So we all get it together and they head over to MIR and the rest, well watch the video, its great.

After he does the run I get a call and he says make sure your at the office at 11:00am Tuesday morning. I’m expecting to see the video go live and instead what happens? Well Julian Bowen and Javier Ortega show up at the Office with full video equipment in hand to finish the Video. Well little did anyone know I was doing a shop tour for the UNCC Engineering department SAE class and they all happened to show up all at the same time (oh yeah), so I did the shop tour and after that had a great afternoon talking about cars and racing with Julian and Javier. A day to remember…
