The World’s First Ever 9 Second All Motor Street Class Honda Civic‏
So a while ago I made a little bet with Norris to break the 9 second barrier to offset an outstanding bill. It was at Jason Miller's MIR World Finals and he was close. Real close. And so were a few other guys, so Norris calls me up after the race and says he had found some extra power in the car (that along with a full skin on the bottom of the car among other things), and says he wanted to not only break the record but also have Jay from Nyce1s come down and document the entire thing.

T1racedevelopment.com at IFO Ennis 2011 8.38 @ 181mph
Most of you must know by now that Tony Palo from T1 Race Development is one of our biggest supporters and a good friend. We have been working with him for so many years and his car just keeps getting faster and faster. Here is a run down of his latest personal best. When we asked him whats next, he said its time to break the only barrier left. If there is anyone out there capable of doing a 7 second pass, my money is on Tony Palo.

Crazy 8′s in a GTO ?
The Pontiac GTO was only made from 2004 thru 2006, but it has a great following. And if any of you have had the chance to drive one, it has more of a European feel than that of a GM muscle car. GTO's run LS motors and as most of you know, they can be built to handle some real insane power. Just about a year ago, one of our friends Travis Wester, was the first GTO to break the 8 second barrier with one.

Lets face it, if your reading this you more than likely have a bug for speed, and although I have several cars in the garage and driveway, boating has become sort of an escape for me and the family. We live just north of Charlotte, and most don't know there are 2 very large lakes in the area. I'm sure many of you have heard of Lake Norman, but we go to High Rock Lake on the other side of interstate 85. It has 350 miles of shore line and is home to some pretty fast boats and some great people. Early last summer while working on our dock my good friend's and racing buddy Randy Hall and his wife Chris came by with there 25' Baja Outlaw

DSS gives away a 9″ kit at the East Coast IRS shoot out and the winner is…..
I was real happy to see a LS1GTO.com Forum member win the DSS 9" kit, and from what one of his buddy's said, his stock rear was already on the way out. Ernie chose a 3:70 gear and will be setting up a time to get together with Heintz Performance to have installed for free

Evans Tuning Race Car Goes 8.98 @ 167MPH. True Street Class One-Hit Wonder. You have to read this to believe it, you cant make this stuff up.
First off we would like to let you know the driver is OK, the car not so much. In drag racing its hard to get an 8 second pass, for a 4-cylinder FWD car its a downright amazing feat only made by a select few. The entire Evans Racing team should be proud of the accomplishment, but there is more to the run. Read on...
